Our colleagues at Bedfordshire Climate Change Forum have let us know about the following event (rescheduled from 19th September):

More information can be found below – to book, head to: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/aquaponics-a-bedfordshire-solution-note-new-date-27th-september-tickets-411566355047

We’re delighted to welcome local chef Luke Clifford to talk about his new aquaponics project coming to a 3-acre Sharnbrook plot soon

We’re delighted to welcome speaker Luke Clifford, hard-working Bedford chef, who has planned an ambitious aquaponics project in Sharnbrook which you can read about here. We’d like to share his Crowdfunder which we believe is worth supporting. Land use and agriculture are really important subjects which we at BCCF keep coming back to. How could Bedfordshire feed itself…? Sustainably, without chemical inputs, minimising land use, creating affordable crops for the local market?

As always, there will be plenty of time for your questions and comments.

Just REGISTER in advance here to get the zoom meeting link emailed to you before the event.

As usual our events, still virtual, are without charge and open to all. We hope to see you on TUESDAY 27th October at 7.30pm, and we hope you’ll be inspired and you might even like to support Luke’s Crowdfunder by contributing and/or sharing it. [Please note change of date due to the 19th being a Bank Holiday]

ALSO note that you can watch/listen/share our events as recorded on our Youtube channel, including Rosalind Redhead’s recent One Tonne Living talk.
