Cranfield University has recently launched a major new research project in collaboration with the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, Sheffield University and The Alan Turing Institute. This will investigate how urban ecosystems are fragmented by the built environment, roads and other human-made infrastructure, and how improvements to support wildlife can be made.
