Kempston Climate Change Group’s Annual General Meeting will be held at 2pm on Saturday 27th April at Transfiguration Church, immediately following our forthcoming Swish event at the same venue.
If you are not yet a member of the group but live or work in Kempston or the surrounding area, then please do join up for free.
At the AGM, we will be undertaking the necessary formal business in line with the Group’s constitution. In particular:
- The Committee will present a report of the work of Kempston Climate Change Group over the year.
- The Committee will present the accounts of Kempston Climate Change Group for the previous year.
- The officers and Committee for the next year will be elected. (Nominations for the committee may be made to the Secretary at least one week before the meeting, or at the meeting.)
- Any proposals given to the Secretary at least seven days in advance of the meeting will be discussed.
A more fulsome agenda will be sent to members in the days before the meeting.
It’s really important that we get a good turnout as we must be quorate. Our constitution states that for the AGM this will be 50% of the membership or 10 members, whichever is the lower.
Best wishes
Ross
Kempston Climate Change Group Secretary
